    Default WE800V2 remotes

Has anyone used the new WE800V2 remote kits?
    The remotes look better.
The paper work is abit unclear on a few things-

I assume you still need to add a 1 in location 431

Can it still flash the strobe for arming and disarming, the same as old kit when enabled in programming?

Can it do a panic alarm if buttons 1 and 2 are held down?

These remotes and receivers are made by Microlatch and are available in a variety of different configurations. It appears that the WE800V2 and the RE05V2 receivers have been developed specifically for the Bosch panels. Bosch arent supplying 880 panels at the moment, only Ultimas so these units are kind of redundant for new installs.

I have found that these new remotes have poor range. I have set them up in a few different scenarios using the supplied antenna and also an external antenna matched to the frequency of the receiver but found it can be a bit hit an miss.

I used these remotes today for a job and they happen to be the same freq has the wireless doorbell.

Turn alarm on and ding dong ding dong. But not every time.
