    MTV,

Will probably get VAST at some stage soon anyway. I have always been curious however how everyone programs these cards. More did it out of curiosity and as a project then anything else. It is quite rewarding when it all works.

    Osirus,

I have documented it but is essentially it is exactly how you described and works a treat. I think the reason I worked it out so quick is the excellent advice that is on this forum.

Once again thanks to all of you who replied on here, all your posts were a great help. Cheers

I will put together a tutorial and post it up on here in the next day or so.

Actually have noticed tonight. I had my gold card out of the box for a while and I have put it back in and I have "Scrambled Channel" again. Will this come up again of it's own accord if I leave it? I noticed if I reprogrammed another card, it comes up straight away. Looks like I am not as clever as I thought I was lol.

You are correct a blank Gold card does not have an ATR

If you program the PIC & the Eeprom correctly....

You will then have an ATR

    Well,

i think we have the problem, I do not really know what I am doing. I have some of the software and I have it working... LME and FMCard...

    I have a Pheonix/SmartMouse programmer.

I have a bunch of files but I am not sure I have the pic. The only info I have come across about programming the pic refers to ic prog and I hav enot been able to locate that software.

Any suggestions on where to find a clear and easy to undertand tutorial?

I am searching for them now to see if it will make more sence...

Thanks for all the help. As far as I can tell, the pheonix programmer cannot program the bootloader, just the eeprom. As such I cannot activate my blank card. I have a friend with the Duolabs cas 3 plus. I will have a go with that programmer when I get a chance...
