Default Updating the SHARP AQUOS Firmware

    Hi guys

I have a SHARP AQUOS TV LC32D77X. Great TV, but I have noticed that the EPG and general UI on the unit is a little slow. I have noticed on the newer models that these things are a lot quicker.

So my question is, how am i able to flash the firmware to update it?

    thanks
    daniel

Did you take the time to visit Sharps web site & download the firmware. Latest Firmware for your model TV is available after you accept the agreement.

    Thank you.

I was more wondering whether or not anyone has done this? And if it is worth it.

I have read, that if the unforeseen happens and there is a blackout, this will brick the TV ?
Is there any truth in this ?

I have the 46" model and do it whenever an update is available. I would do it.

It took me a few different USB sticks to find a compatable one.
