    Default Couldn't resist a bargain...

Bought three of these...yes three.. as the brother is finishing up this week at the factory.

The red one is the GT with :-

    sun roof,
    sat-nav,
    6 speed auto,
    dvd player, mp3,
    bluetooth integrated hands free phone,
    cruise control,
    black leather fully electric seats,
    vapour injected LPG dual/fuel,
    tow bar,
10 year warranty, 5 years roadside assist

paid....$25900 plus ORC ex Adelaide (had to pickup)

The silver one is the "GTL" with:-

    sun roof,
    6 speed auto,
    6 stack cd/ mp3,
    bluetooth integrated hands free phone,
    cruise control,
    white leather fully electric seats,
10 year warranty, 5 years roadside assist.

paid....$21900 plus ORC ex Werribee Mitsubishi.

Also have a VRX in silver coming next week..not shown here.

The red is for me, the two silvers are for my two sons.

The average fuel consumption is 9.8 litres per 100 klm.
    Pretty good for a V6 3.8L

A very cheap excellently manufactured Australian vehicle.

Yeh I was thinking the same. Maybe adoption is an option? Vapour gas injection is a bonus. I think in this day and age amazing that car makers still haven't improved the mileage much at all. My ol' VT crapoladoore still gets less than 10l/100 and it's got over 200,000km's now and still 10yrs young

I kid you not. Consistantly less than 10l/100km. Last fill was yesterday, 60l and trip meter was 590km and that was back and forth to town, putting around locally and a trip to the next valley. Down the Highway to the big smoke I can get a little batter than that. Been like that from new.

Nice score z, got ya self a good deal there.

I'd like one but I could not afford the petrol.

    My 1.6 litre returns 720k's for 43.5 ltrs, that's 16.55 k's per ltr.
All highway driving at about 90 kph.

Congrats Zed, nice choise, great prices.

Love the GT in red with black leather, $26k +or is a give away price.

Leroy i think you need to get your vt checked out or take some lead off your right foot.
Some fords are known to get crap milage when the oxygen sensor or map sensor is gone. You couldnt tell unless you worked out what its costing you to run.

Its a shame that Mitsu closed down the Australian assembly plant, they did build a great car.
Pity the public didnt take to them.

I think the vt was supposed to do 7.?l/100km highway. City you sound not too bad.

Come to think about it my ford was running 14l/100km city till i found the fault and got it down to 11l/100km.

The best mileage I ever achieved was just under 9L/100. 8.8 or 8.9 I cna't remember. But I couldn't drive over 100km. The best thing anyone can do is run higher tyre presures. I run 40psi cold and that makes like 0.5/100 difference.

nah mate...the red one and the vrx are on factory fitted LPG .

    That's why it's 10k to a litre.

On the run from Adelaide to Geelong it cost $45 the whole 800k.

LPG properly done is sensational now....it's called "vapour injection" and I had it done by the factory before leaving Tonsley Park.

Costs about $38 to fill the tank this week.

That's what I would like but it's just not worth it on this vehicle. Plus it has such a shallow boot I need all the space with kids and pram etc. You don't think of these things when you are single with no kids

There are those of us who buy certain cars specifically because they can't take the kids and the prams.......
