There are already rumors floating around you guys have gone belly up.... Funny how people spread gossip so fast.
DM500s Black with rear on/off switch $99 inc post , DM800 sim 82 $250 inc post, DM800SE $310 inc
Liski,
Its funny how rumours start, but one thing is for sure and that is your website is also down.
Is that because you also run your own server.
And if power is down how did the original post get posted?
The day is long and lets hope it's all rumours.
The power failure has affected all services which includes, the UBI DTH service, 1300 400 800 number and our website.
All updates have been made via my own internet access.
Regards,
Liski
i am afraid guys no more ubi i just spoke to my friend who works there and he told me that they finish me 2 days ago no more work good luck to the people who pays for a year 2 weeks ago lol
While I am not much of a fan of unsubstantiated rumours, the fact that the service is down and your website and phone are down sounds like its a bit more than a power failure. That statement sounds like its total and utter bullshit.
People prefer to hear the truth, even if its not what they want to hear.
The UBI website is up.
It's odd that they put a message like that up on their website instead of leaving their normal content though.

Probably the best info would come the horse's mouth! from Mr.or Mrs.Boulos! or the CEO of UBI on Youtube..rather than rumours. or a speech on one of UBI channels!..
now shows a message about power failure

Seems suss... if the website was down by the same power failure claimed to have taken out their satellite and phone services, but the website is up.... why not the others?
Seems odd to me that UBI wouldn't have backup power for their service.
Must only be a problem with their building, as there are no reported general power outages reported for the Pyrmont area.
Liski, can you please explain exactly the cause of the power outage, where the power outage is, what area is affected by the power outage, when you expect it to be restored and all UBI services will be back online and why UBI has no backup power source?

I feel sorry for those who watch TRT TURK and ERT. They are FTA Channels.
If it is working ,do not touch it
Fox Sports1 have experienced a similar problem
read this link.........
According to Foxtel it was only one channel.
UBI reports their whole network.
Hhmmmm..... very interesting.
it was actually 3 channels
FoxtSports1, Speed and Fuel TV
It almost equates to less than 3% for Foxtel and 100% for UBI.
It might be time for UBI to invest in a UPS.
Preumier media aka fox sports is in the same building as ubi

I can understand a technical problem, I cant understand why the need to change the website front page only. Lack of staff to answer the phone/s to queries and complaints ?
I cant understand why companies go with this duck and run method in a crisis, its like they deliberately try to piss their customers off with bullshit, half truths and no information.
Hopefully it gets sorted out soon.I agree with poutsopoulos, you would think they would have a UPS in this day and age and being a media provider.
