My NewCS 1.6 setup (XPPro) has a jaycar phoenix connected via COM port. Every minute or so the reader or the card reboots and goes through the startup sequence. How can I prevent the reboot from occuring?
Whitey is being used. Using 1.5 it does not reboot however I dont get pics. I may have to post my config file when I get home.

Does it matter where in the config file this is placed?
i Have a simlar problem, 1.60 working fine under xp but crashes under server 2003...
blockga = yes working so far (10 mins). Thanks Johnno!
same here ,thanks johnno ,that also worked with newcs 1.5.
I am thinking of using CCcam/Newcs instead of Greywolf so as to be able to update my card and get my local setup stabilised.
How has this setup been going?
newcs 1.6 on kubuntu
2 card setup on jaycars
card 1 keeps stopping, not an update problem as you restart server and it works again - no need to hummy the card.
this seems to happen every 1-2 hours
can anyone shed some light?
Missed a Plainkey maybe..
how would this happen?
seems to come and go this problem....
ok for days them bam! every 10 min to hour it goes off

Don't trust me. I have malfunctioned.
aaatjs - I assume you are also CCcam with NewCS. If this is the case I would suggest to use CCcamtrace on the box when it is having the problem.
This will allow you to read likely error messages so you can then analyse, determine what is happenning and what to do to fix.
Overall it sounds like the NewCs setup is not good.
Does anyone have other info to the contrary?
Can some one please help me get Alpha S2 c running back again on a server? It appears that the server has stoped, now I propably need to hook up with some one if I can get a firmware update. A help will be preciated.
