with F1 kicking off in Melbourne in a couple of weeks or so I'm struggling to get info on just what will be shown on FTA (VAST) TV.
I can't find any scheduling information on the Channel 10 website. And since the BBC has run out of money & sold half its coverage rights to the evil Sky PPV barons, I suppose the other half of the race programme will have to bought from these PPV moguls?
Does anyone have any info on VAST coverage of F1 (& MotoGP) this season
Thanks in advance
Bruce

Thanks to Leroy for his words of comfort. I was starting to panic!
Rodnic, your link doesn't appear on my screen. Any chance of re posting it - maybe longhand? (I couldn't find anything on Google)
Cheers
Bruce
I don't know why it doesn't. It appears on mine. I just put "f1 tv" in Google and one of the options was "f1 tv coverage australia 2012". This listed a whole lot of sites including the Ausmotive.com one.
Any way part of it says
"Channel Ten has advised via its @tensporttv twitter account that they will be broadcasting all Formula One races live in 2012. “We will be showing all races live and exclusive,” the tweet reads."

Hi Bruce, thought we covered this already post #5.
You must like your motorsport as much as me & my missus.
We spent the weekend at Phillip Island via satellite courtesy of Aus*.
Saturday arvo was a bit of a bummer, but hey that's racing.
Really looking forward to the MotoGP & F1 on VAST ch1 & V8's on 7 or 7Mate this year, every race live, though I wish they would do it ad free during the race as Speed(Fox Sports) does.
V8's start this weekend, Clipsal 500 live from Adelaide.
If you want to know when the races will be on check the calendars at:

Thanks for that, guys.
Guess I must have a popup blocker stopping my links showing - I'll try & sort it out.
Looking forward to the season now I can actually see the TV after crap analogue signal, & with my PVR box shouldn't miss any. Hurrah!

OK Bruce, warm the set & cool the tinnies.
VAST EPG has the Formula One Australian GP listed on One Central as:
Fri 16th 12 noon - 7 pm EDST
Sat 17th 12 noon- 6:30 pm EDST
Sun 18th 12noon - 7:30 pm EDST
Replay Mon 19th 11pm - 1am EDST
exactly the same coverage as local terrestrial TV.

So I warmed the beer & cooled the set (expat Brit), & watched the race. Yay!!
Good on yer Jensen!
And I was glad to hear that channel One and/or 10 will be showing all the races (usually 21:30 I think they said). Also, that they're taking the Sky commentary, so we get a bit of informed input from Brundle.
All that & another 19 races to go yet - and I get to see them all on my shiny new VAST system.
So thanks to all for the techy inspiration & programme help that enabled me to assemble & install my system.
