that applies to both public versions.

funny you say this as was having a discussion with an associate. Got a dead PS hummy here ready for a cap upgrade and will pick up a max232 etc in the morning. We figured this is the only combo we hadn't tried since the latest whitey update.

Bugger - I like using GreyWolf but I am not keen on starting another project to add eg a Humax in the mix.

I have not done this before or even thought too much about doing it.

If I set up one of the Dreams to be the server, is there a setup that will update the card??

there is something out there that will update I'm sure. I'm about to put a hummer in the mix to see how this goes. It's not a difficult project.

The point of my post is quite simple.
What is left of the inner sanctum are like pavlov dogs you feed them a biscuit once and they keep drooling.
They ALL rely on ONE person to do their coding for them and unless god (aka the coder) say's you can release this they keep it to themselves because they just couldnt face it if they were no longer part of the group.
I had one so called friend who I have known for years cut me of from his MSN for even mentioning some software to another person.
And yes there is a difference in passing software to a friend and posting it on a open forum.

Greywolf 863 is an outstanding piece of work.

It needs a humax and a BF430 for full benefit

Greywolf was written to use at least one Bf430.

Too many sookey lah lahs try to do it without a BF430.

Bite the bullet, get one and see the result.

Sattronics sells them, get one, learn something instead of playing with keyboards and editting config files.

Any fool can convince himself he has done something clever with a dreambox, yet nothing could be further from the truth.

Especially with the images floating around....

I suppose people try and do it without the hummer bf in the mix because it's a bit old tech and I for one feel that if the software was written accordingly then it shouldn't be required. But as mentioned above this is the road I'm going to go down.
Now that being the case is there a prefence for GW 863 over GMW 071 and why?

FYI I have decided to put a Hummy into my setup - This looks like the only answer that I can go with.

Sure there be other programs, secrets etc however until other answers are available this is all I can do.

BTW is there a reason why Thursday is the "update problem" day?
