Interesting. How many months have you been testing this for?

What config line(s) have you used on the newcs side to hook up to it ?

The web site also mentions that it'll work with CCcam,,.. have you tried it with that at the serving end?

[EDIT] Don't worry,.. just read through the pdf again,.. just a normal client connection by the looks of it.

How do you connect to the strong box, season or serial? Which strong box are you using and what firmware?

I have been holding off announcing the arrival of these units until they actually arrive on shore. However since mmtech (I mean coolstuff) has announced the arrival before any stock is available, I will too.

Fortunately I order directly from the manufacturer and as I have already sold a number of smargo smartreaders I have been able to negotiate an attractive price on both units for all future orders.

If you have ordered a smartreader from me in the past you'll know I've been efficient in dispatch and tried to be as helpful as possible with one on one support.

I expect a quantity to arrive in a fortnight from now. Please look in the BST section or contact me for more info.

If you have a humax, you can use the season interface to connect. You need to run toh firmware for it to work. You can connect to an irdeto server using this method.

With an Octagon, you can use the sssp protocol. You need to use the aftermarket firmware and in the secret menu enable sssp. Connect the Octagon using a null modem cable to the S2E. You can connect to either a nds or an irdeto server using this method.

The units do not pass emms at present. This is being worked on. Their not breaking any records.

Like warbo said it works with the humax with the season card, but it also works with the null modem cable using the sssp setting in TOH firmware. A card does need to be in the embedded slot of the humax returning a proper atr. A goldie with aurora details works fine.
The humax can only decode the irdeto stream only as compared to the Octagon which can do nds as well.
