Have heard of peoples fingers being cut off to gain access to teller machines etc.

I have to use ones that defended against just that. The hood above the full palm scanner projects inferred which measures the oxygen level in the blood while it scans the hand so that’s been thought of at the higher end of the market.

What make and model are these units and do you have any other models perhaps with the key barrel on the body rather than in the handle.

    Thanks

I am thinking about using HID cards now anyway.

I priced a similer unit to yours in Bunnings and that was close to $600.00 so your price is ok if the quality is ok. EBay would be a good market for these perhaps.

Love to see the look on the thiefs face when he cant get the door open using your chopped off thumb....at least you will still have your belongings...less one digit.

I read about similar things happening in Malaysia(?). They have a pretty fierce chop shop market there. Fancy BMWs, mercs, etc get targeted and with some of the newer cars needing a fingerprint to start....well you could see where that's heading.

    Cheers, RHCP.

Worse than just a finger you need the whole hand plus a pin code plus bypass cctv and security

I am waiting for the bad people do discover bump keys. Makes it a fun insurance claim if your house has been cleared out with no sign of forced entry.
