They are all pretty good these days . Its probably going to come down to a cost factor in the end.

i dont mind paying the money if the dearer one has some benefit over the others,
like i found the acekard to be cheapest followed by m3ds with rumble pack then a r4
is there a benfefit to a r4 over the others?

Some of the differences are size of memory cards that they will take, having an action replay built in or not, realtime saves etc. The R4 has been around for a long time now and there are newer carts then them, but like anything thats been out for a long time, it usually means that they must have got it right or they wouldnt still be around. Myself, I sell a lot of the DSTT carts and have nothing but good feedback from clients, so I think its really a personal preference.

I would be the same as cwispy ,the DSTT is a very good budget card , or the Acekard is also really good
the R4 has been around a lont time , and they are favoured for a reason , but i reckon there are better cheaper cards on the market like the ones stated

Around $33AU delivered for a DSTT with 2gb card

DealExtreme, US site, free delivery, AU dollar is high against the US dollar, so prices are very favourable, damn cheap if you ask me...

I'd probably stay away from the R4 these days because the competition has come up to where the others were and the R4 still doesn't have SDHC support. DSTT has been popular but there are a few people who have problems with it, but there are a lot of happy customers, if I was going to buy a new one I probably would look at that.
Coding in C is like sending a 3 year old to do groceries. You gotta tell them exactly what you want or you'll end up with a cupboard full of pop tarts and pancake mix.

Acekard is what I've been leaning towards; it seems to be the most user friendly and to have the best.... Functionality, I suppose. XD. People seem to look past things like, "Oh, it plays MP3s" and "You might be a collector/playing copies of your own originals to keep them in good condition", always heading directly toward "You're stealing games!"
