    Default Power Supply Recomendations

Ok, you've all read about my System problems. but its seems I have a dead powersupply too..Grrr..
The old one was a Codegen 625W..yes really crap..

Would a Coolermaster Extreme 500W do fine for a replacement,

    AM2 6000+
    Palit 8800Gt
    1x 160GB SATA HD
1x 250GB IDE (but has SATA converter)
    Liteon IDE DVDR.

I don't have a lot to spare after the motherboard replacement.

    Thanks.

On the specs of your system anything bigger than a 300W would be more than enough to run it. Only advice I give when looking for a psu is to find one with ballbearing fans preferably.
What would you do if your server was stolen or failed beyond repair?

I went with the Coolermaster 550W...
I may one day stick a Phenom and 1066Mhz DDR2 Ram in, as the new MB supports them natively, my old board slowed down the HT.
