Strong 4658 Drop offs.

Is it just me or are the strong 4658x dropping off sometimes and you need to refresh the card in a different box to get them up again. I've got the 117 May sofware on it. Is this the best to use at the moment.

After reading all the other threads, I would say Yes ...... However there are people running that firmware 1.17 like leroy who are not having any issues but there are others who are having issues using that version firmware like you and others in various other threads.

I have said this before and I have yet to be disproved but I think we are missing something, two people running the same boxes same firmware, one updates the other doesn't. I thought this was only happening on the openboxes but it now apears to be happening with the strong's. My suspicion is the G2 cards and their revised programming. Unfortunately the people in the know are not talking so its a bit hard to pinpoint.

put same firmware as you on my box still get same message as i got when whities went down some time ago scrambled channel

I wonder about the processor in these boxes as some are bullet proof and others have problems but reported to be running same firmware.

check your firmware
thier were a few 1.17 releases the latest is about 800k in size all have same date
some box's loose pics when card updates
you should only have to pull card out and back in or turn box off and then on and wait
