LNB performance varies ie it's abilty to resolve weak signals.
The skew between lnb's will also vary, even between the same model. But will be roughly within 10-20 degrees of each other.

The Preset Skew of Optus Satellites is essentially the same. Approximately 40 Degrees.
I have only seen or heard of the early Foxtell/Aurora/Austar installations using LNBs with that Preset Skew. The only way that you can be sure, is to peak the signal on both known H and V transponders. There is nothing to stop you using one of these LNBs with the preset skew for other Sats. Just have to adjust it the opposite way.
There may be small variations due to manufacturing tolerances of others.
There are other variations of Inbuilt Skew, but that is a totally different kettle of fish, and not to confuse the current debate.
