    Default Images versus filebox

    What is the prefered method.

1 Add Image To Post that Others can't download

2 Or upload to Austech's File box that Others can Dowload

    Your call Mr Sanity.

Any image using the 'Add image to post' can be downloaded and saved.

Just open the image, right click on it an select 'save as'.

By using the add image to post.... you can see the image in your post... not just a link to download it from file storage.

The two types of storage offered are one for images... the other for all other files.

When used as intended, they both work well.

Its as simple as these steps.

    1. Scroll down to the reply section of the thread. You will see the text "Upload to Austech's Filebox".

    2. Click on "select files" and select the file from your PC to upload.

    3. When the file is uploaded, go to the top of the forum and click on the "filebox" link on the top forum toolbar on the extreme left.

    4. Find your file, hover your cursor over the file and a menu will appear.Click on the icon of a persons head and you can access the files direct download url. Post this url in your post so others can download the file.

The mediafire uploader is for files. Use the "add image to post" link to upload pictures.

You are confusing two totally different things.
Just above the reply box is "
    Add image to post ".

And below the reply box, there is the Mediafire File input to which Sanity is referring.
Although you can add the url of an image from Mediafire, it behoves me to say the other is better for getting a thumbnail or full size image.
I thought this was all sorted out before?

Kindest Regards, " The Druid ".
