Hi everyone - old nerd reporting in

hey austechers!!
i was directed here after asking a question in another forum and liked the look of this place. love what you've done here!

i have multiple PC's, 2 x iPads (so the wife doesn't hog mine), 2 x xbox360's, a nice Yamaha Home Theatre (networked), 2 x plasmas, and a NAS. all this is connected on my home network, mostly by a hard wired LAN or if not then WiFi via my FritzBox router.

in addition i like dabbling in photography and video.

so you can see that i like all things tech really and have no real fanboy allegiances.

i look forward to participating, asking questions, and helping where i can.
