Elvis Programming Help

This is doing my head in. Im trying to do a new card with Aur*** deets. I used to do these a couple of times a month but havnt had to do one for almost 18months. Ive dusted off my old Elvis and Win98 Laptop and found all the necessary programs but no joy.

I keep getting Card Errors or Interuptions from both Fmcard and LmEdit Pro.
Ive tried both Gold and Emerald wafers and just cant seem to get to the final stage.
They both program fine through MultiProg but when i try to use FmCard it says Card error. Cardhunter connects fine and loads the edited CRD files ok but it is just gibberish afterwards.

6Mhz right ? Ive also tried another 98 machine so its not the laptop.

I even found the old notes from Skull on Easy Elvis extraction and started from scratch - nada.

What am i doing wrong ? - Any suggestions please.

I have an elvis programmer and from from my experience it is the worst thing I ever did.

Have gone out and purchased a new Phoenix Programmer from Toor hopefully I will have that soon.

I have found that I need to run Elvis software first up to get someting to work. I am sure 6Mhz is the only goer on this as well.

Jaz808 - you are a star mate. I cant believe i didnt try the other setting, i just thought i remembered it as being 6Mhz. What a wally i am.

At least i totally refreshed my memory on rewriting card files and the like
I most likely wont have to do another for ages, im writing a little txt file for myself just in case.

I didnt want to purchase a new programmer for the amount i use them, the Elvis has always done the job before. Just a matter of the right programs and the right settings (DOH on my part)

I bought an Elvis when it first came out and i have programmed everything i needed to do, Gold, Silver, Emerald, Fun, Public Gamma,
It worked with CardHunter, FmCard, LM-Edit & GG-Edit, DS9, PicBin-Ed, AusGold, GhostGold/Silver/Emerald/Blue, V17, i killed and reminated a 1.2, mosced a 1.9, and probably a few more other progs, memory is the best, only a few times i pulled out the homemade pheonix
