    Default Playback recording problems

I thought i'd bump this one up, originally posted by minnikin

I to have the same problem. The 7 network and ABC 24 etc are ok but the others are the same as stated below.

Although this Original post was to Gordon is there anyone else over East experiencing this

Gordon do you have problems with audio sync when recording. Apparently there is an issue with WA PVR's being sent irregular buffers on WIN, Go, Gem, Ten and Eleven. It seems to be everything that originates from Ingleburn, NSW.

I have found that if I pause live play, when I restart the delayed program it will run OK for approx 15 seconds (sometimes longer) and the the audio will jump out of sync with audio playing about 10 to 15 seconds ahead of the picture. If I fast forward or jump back, the audio will sync for the next 15 seconds and then jump out again. The same thing happens if I try to play a recorded program. Very annoying and makes the PVR useless for these channels.

Toyboy, If this post is directed to me I regret to advise you I A/ dont have a PVR VAST stb (Neither are PVR enabled) and B/ I havent recorded any programs from VAST, in fact I havent recorded anything off anything for several months now.
I have seen another Gordon username here so if its intended for him, I apologise for butting in.

Its stirring a memory from last year around Tour d' France time when I recorded parts of the Tour on a Strong Terrestial HD stb and it did was you described but it was only noticable obviously when the announcer was 'on camera' so it wasnt a problem.

Toyboy, I found his post after reading and answering this.
Sorry I cant be of any assistance but there have been replies in minnikens origonal post.
It seems the problem may be in VAST or with the Broadcasters.

UEC claim it's a stream issue from the 9 & 10 networks affecting audio sync on the WA VAST feeds.

The problem is only evident on recordings, not live viewing.

They are aware of the issue and are said to be working on a fix.... which we be an OTA firmware upgrade.... oh no... here we go again.
