Default Nub needs help- which DVB-S Card?

    Hi Guys,

Asking for help on my first post

I have built a HTPC (E6600, 2gb ram, over 1tb storage, Vista Ultimate, etc) and would like to convert an old Tel$tra sat internet dish to receive Optus free to air. So I guess I need an aurora card and a pci-e card to decode. Can you please tell me which is the best card to do this. I am also keen to try and hack around a bit if you know what i mean So is there a card about with the ability to do this? I may be asking the wrong questions as I am a complete nub to this, but I am a systems engineer and Avaya PBX engineer so Im not stoopid, any help would be greatly appreciated by you Sat gurus

A twinhan dvb-s2 card can be purchased for around $200 from digitalnow and a purple cam 2.26D around $90 and an aurora card $90? or you could go down the goldie path until it stops working. Not sure what dish or lnb you have though and what exactly are you trying to get?
