My pictures would have been a bit better if I didn't have wind moving the rig and also less ambient light.
Bloody nice pics L.J. and Mick. Interesting to note the different azimuths our three locations showed.
Nice big Dob. you've got there L.J. - my best scope is a Taiwanese 150mm. Would love a big light bucket like yours.
I ended up using just one of the the big #11 filters for the objective end, and a #5 oxy-welding filter for the eye-piece. Seemed about right.

Well it's all over here.
Yep, done for the next 100 years or so.
Took hundreds of pics at all stages. I may have the "black drop" in some frames. Have to check those frames when I get back from doctor.
It was a great experience but really drained me with this flu.
As a follow up, NASA has released some jaw dropping videos, like this one.
