Which pests are you referring to? My experience is limited to European Wasps and Bees...
As the title says, is it better to have it done in the colder months when they are pretty much dormant or at the start of warmer weather when they are becoming active again and probably breeding?
Your experiences please.
P.S. We are talking about insects here not neighbours or relatives.

The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
Hi enf
Mainly spiders and roaches.
For most of my life, I lived a delusion
I dunno. My inclination would be to treat the problem in its dormant state so that anything that hatches dies prior to breeding....

I have my house pest sprayed Nov/Dec every year.

I have not had to have pest treatment for more than twenty years.
The summer roaches were easily dealt with by baits and sprays and spiders were a minor nuisance. However, since I have started doing service work at home, I have had a couple of items come in absolutely infested with roaches and now have a bit of a problem. Also, over the last couple of years, the daddy-long-legs spiders are out of control, building webs everywhere inside the house and workshop.
I used to have quite a few redback spiders around the yard but they have largely disappeared and it's now rare to see one.

Best time to have pest control treatment?
when you get a dose of thr crabs
I use to go to Bunnings and buy a concentrate poison that you mix with water for spiders ants and i think roaches too.
Summer time it spray a barrier around the base of the house, around the brickwork vents. under the eaves, under the gutters, around windows and around the veranda wood work with a large pump spray for fruit trees.
I did this about 4 years ago and didn't see any noticeable spider/ants till last summer when i did it again.
In my case it was always in summer when they were at max action.
