Menu Item Missing

Hi guys,

I just got a new DM500-S and the Satellite Configuration menu items seem to be missing from the Setup. I can see Bouquets followed my the dividing line, then System Settings when on my other box Satellites and Transponders would normally appear between these.

When i looked at the satellites.xml file it was corrupted. I've fixed that but it still isn't showing. Is there another config file that could be causing this error? Or is it a bad flash?

If it's not showing up in Setup > Service Searching > Satellite Configuration, then something is odd. I'd re-flash it, especially if it's new. Who knows what they did to it.

This happened to me, turned out the tuner was not plugged into the motherboard correctly. Open up the box and push it down.

Popped the box open and pushed down the tuner and all is well
