aurora smartcard

Hi i have a v4.1 aurora smartcard just sitting here so i read the details of it and i noticed it doesn't have any provid 10 details just fffff only has provid 00 details does that mean it has'nt been activated because i can't get any abc or sbs with it. i can't remember where it come from.So could i fill the forms out and get it activated.

Leave it in your stb for a couple of days or more and all activated chanels will come good.(It is activated)

F.M.Card is also capable of a chid dump
(lets you know what channels are authorised on the card).
But for FS don't post them here.
You should have 13 chids from memory(If fully activated)
Will either be a west or east card.
eg - Win & Gwn plus abc & sbs + wlk.
or Seven central & Imparja plus abc & sbs + wlk.

it only has three i think this card may have been used for radio could i just fill the activation form in and see what happens. Also i'm in wa so do you have to contact gwn to get access?

i know i qualify but just don't know if they will like it if the card has already been activated.If it has it must only had been for radio because i have had in the uec for three days now, i even changed the channels a few times.

Yes, its quite pointless them shutting down Ird1 except I suppose so that they don't have to run 2 systems.

yes I understand your angst, it is quite distressing and clearly warrants a taskforce whithin the AFP to protect the ABC and SBS from being viewed in all parts of Australia.

how is the government ever expected to make any revenue
i thought at least with a new batch of cards they would recoup at least 10 grand out the millions they spend each year
i dont know what the government is thinking using our hard earned
dollars to have the afp become private investigators for a company making millions, but cant make any money for themselves
if it was anywhere else in the world it would be called corruption but here we just call it government policy

or is it austars policy i,ll have to read the ten commandments again
