Looking forward to seeing the TVPLUS signal fire up on IS19 to New Zealand in a few weeks.

Though there are not many Greek / Turkish / Spanish / Balkans / Arabic people living here.

Is there any plan to broadcast a few channels as FTA services like UBI did?

This could also be achieved via a firmware download from your website.

As outlined previously we are upgrading the headend to MP4 including replacing all customers IRD's. We are not spending any time or $$ considering any MP2 support or infrastructure..

To do OTA updates requires substantial prep work which is costly involving numerous vendors.. Additionally to provide software via our website requires commercial relationships and support agreements to be entered into all of which are not a priority at this time.

Who's to say those MPEG4 decoders won't be taken over too at some stage?

I'm sure they will be 'managed' by TV Plus much in the same way Foxtel and Austar manage theirs.
