    Default Partial eclipse of the Moon tonight (4-6-12)

    Starts about 8pm-ish, ends a bit after 10. Mid eclipse around 9pm. North East coast times. It may vary where you live.

    This is the eclipse from me up to about max umbral phase. I have man flu so not staying out for all of it.

    Not quite so speccy up here in Darwin. Only about 15% coverage. It was still good family fun to go out and watch it though.

    Oddly we had an almost clear sky after a few very misty wet days and with the Full moon fairly high at 9.30pm, the shadow was quite obvious.
    However there was a rather cold sharp Sou-Westerly nipping around the exposed skin so viewing was fairly brief.
    I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
