No idea. My post above works OK in all areas for me ..

I also posted this text link for you in the other thread.

    Question again Bazzle01,

What is the difference bwtween camera profile1/profile2/profile3/profile4?
i got your deposit successfully and found your cam setting is profile1, i did not change it , and i can see the cam/speed symbol on the map. Just want to know the difference between them .
Another question is for the lane information, Currently i can not see them on the screen, whatever i enabled it "on the top" or "on the bottom", so i am wondering if the road like "Princes Highway, Carlton, New South Wales, Australia" or " Forest Rd Sydney providing such lane information?

    Thanks~~

Works beautifully bazzle except for one small problem. I keep losing audio directions and I'm not 100% sure but seems to happen going through school zones. Anyone else having this issue? I'm using it on a chinese 2 din unit.

Its incase you want to set up diff parameters, I never have.
Lane info with small arrows only works when in Nav mode (go to a chosen destination) on major roads that have the info embedded. afaik

    Hi Baz,

I don't think your Primo 2 sys.txt file is backward compatible with Primo 1.2. What is the content of Australia.spc file? I assumed Australia_schoolzones.spc has school zones and therefore no need to include the AustraliaSchool.txt file in speedcam dir.

Is there a backup user data option in Primo2? I could not find it anywhere.

    Cheers.

    @ Wildwild.

The file above is speedcam etc xxx.txt . Goes Unzipped into speedcam folder on any iGO or Primo build.

For primo, it generates the Australia.spc file from *.txt under speedcam folder during the application launching, if there is no spc file i think.
not sure if i am right, you can try to delete all files under speedcam folder(backup first), and copy the *.txt cam/school file into this folder , then launch IGO primo to verify.

Primo generates the speedcam.spdb and SpeedcamUpdates.spud files from the txt files. I think the *.spc files are Primo's supplied files. I was just wondering whether I should delete these files or not.

    Cheers.

Try it out and see, just keep the untouched directory under a new name .
When you run it you will see if s zones etc are doubled up.
You can check by just dragging the map to where they exist and zoom in, (you can also add and remove the same way)
If you do always keep the directories backed up so you can go back.

After a long wait I have finally had the chance to give Bazz's backup a run on the S90i and my no name (Identified as an Apollo system by TT fastactivate). I was pleased it self adjusted to the different resolutions and worked first up on both devices and worked as expected on road. So far only one question has arisen and that is with the"shutdown time=5" setting in the sys.txt the no name will duly shut down on removal of external power whereas the navman will not. I am wondering if there is another setting in the sys.txt that the Navman needs to execute the instruction.

Edit: While familiarising myself with the P2 functions on the no name I found map changer gives me three map options, Navteq, Other and TomTom (TomTom system is resident on the same SD card) each of which is selectable with map changer and have similar appearance on P2 screen. How can I check which map is actually selected (if any change has occurred) after using map changer. I have looked in the Help section but can't find a map credit there.

In map changer it says in the right hand box what map is loaded.
The 'other' directory is empty except for the prompt so map wont change.

Anyone know how to get camera alerts when you are not on a route. They work fine when a route is put in but I'd like to have audio alert even not on the route.

    cheers.

Nope, haven't touched a thing. Reloaded to confirm and yeah only getting speed camera alerts when on a route. I'm getting other alerts though such as railway crossings when not on a route...

Anyone else able to confirm this? I know my old version of Primo had an option for alerts when on route or not but I can't seem to see that anymore in settings.

    Thanks Baz,

I already know that. I think the format of the sys,txt file is different between 1.2 and 2.0 versions.

I have given the subject system a good workout aound town and can only say it's a beauty. Thanks again to Bazzle01 for his eforts.
One thing that I want to correct if possible is that it warns of an average speed camera on a surburban street where there is no speed camera and probably never will be. It's on my usual route to town so it will become annoying with repeated warnings everytime I go to town. Can I remove this alert and how.

Drag to that spot on the screen (or stop when you are driving near it)
Press the cam icon and the edit function button.
Use that to remove/change add etc.
