I have used both, singularly and together which is NOT a good idea plus Zone Alarm but like Aboulaly I now use MSE, and so far I have had no problems on all three computers, 1 desktop and 2 L/tops running XP and Win7.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

Out of interest, my subscription to Kaspersky Pure ran out last week. As I dont download or browse porn, I thought I might go it cheap by just running MSE on my Windows 7 laptop.

Within 2 hours my computer was hijacked by a program telling me I was infected bla blah. I couldnt believe it...2 bloody hours and I have safe surfing habits.

Needless to say, I am renewing my Kaspersky sub.

I run a copy of malwarebytes in conjunction with MSE, and it normally picksup what MSE misses.

EDIT: malwarebytes has to be the full version not trial to be effective.
