    Default IGO8 software stopped working.

    Hey all!

    I found this forum, thanks to Bazzle.

    Having issues with my WD6050 Unit and IGO8.

    After 7 months, it just decided to stop working and states "no navigation software found"

    Checked the SD card and all files seem to be ok?

    How can I fix? Is there an update?

    Just downloaded and tried iGO 8.3.5.

    Still nothing works.

    I direct the unit to open file iGO8.exe but it just doesnt load. Unit keeps booting and tries to reload it.

    Any ideas?

    Yep.

    I've tried 3 different SD Cards,

    1 GB one, and 2GB ones.

    So,

    I tried Primo 2, and it loads...

    Just gotta figure out why its not picking up the GPS signal... but I think read something in another post which i will try.

    Any idea why igo8 won't load?

    No idea, hard to guess over the Net

    For p2 Add your baud and port no's to sys.ini file in save/profiles/o1 etc

    @Spizo
    Check the screen resolution. I think the unit's screen resolution does not match the resolution in sys.txt.

    I'll try changing the screen resolution in sys.txt for igo8.

    But as for Primo2, GPS still not active.

    I've changed the sys.ini (save/profiles/01) baud and port to;

    [gps]
    baud="4800"
    port="1"

    Still doesn't pick up GPS signal in Primo2.
    I checked the GPS signal in the setup of the unit and there's heaps of strength... so the unit itself is picking up good strength so, I''m guessing it's something to do with primo2 settings.
