This forum is for bst only, so I am moving your thread to general chat.
matt is a lazy tool at the best of times, I doubt he will rip you off, you probably will get it eventually.Read his bst feedback from others in his forum profile,#### up is his middle name.
Shouldnt you be dealing with this via eBay resolution centre seeing you didnt buy the item from him via here?
he's more than likely back in hospital getting something removed from his rectum
that a previous unhappy purchaser has returned !

This is Matt's itrader sales rating page
As you can see, he is very consistent at messing things up. I dont think I have heard of anyone never getting their stuff, it will probably turn up at some stage. All I can recommend is making a complaint via ebay and hopefully you paid via paypal and can make a claim that way.
I presume he sold you a clapped out old Humax and/or an old Optus Aurora card that he has fiddled the channel ID's on ?
You might want to check the rest of the site out, particularly the sat section, as if you are buying an old humax we can probably suggest some better options for you.
Just out of interest, can i ask how much?

I dont think that is getting ripped. As much is it is unfortunate that announcement has been made in the last couple of days.
What he bought and what he paid isn't really the issue, and you can't get ripped if you bided for it?? Personally i think thats a reasonable price for a Humax 5400.
It was a good box, came in at $535 retail in the day.
Sure a cheap $80 Openbox S9 or S10 may have been a better choice, allowing more options.
Its just bullshit when you pay for something and you dont hear back..... I have been in that situation and also probably put a couple of sellers in that situation when i was uncontactable for a few days.
But when YOU ARE selling... i think you should make sure you are there and respond to emails etc.
If the deal goes sour Tejas, and you get your money back.... There are some reputable sellers on here that will look after you
I agree, I think the price is reasonable, but does the buyer know aurora is set to be turned off in the near future ?
A vast receiver mightbe a better option for him.
You were a bit cheap on the humax price oceanboy, I can remember them being around 850 before my now famous bulk buys with hotchip
You made one basic error, you paid via direct deposit, always pay via paypal when dealing through ebay and pay for registered postage.
I can just see him claiming it got lost in the mail.....
