whitey 2 problem
I have a whitey 2 that was working but has been out of the box for a few weeks and is now not working. Is it just a matter of waiting for it to update or do they have a problem being out for that long. Its in a strong 4653x

Still not up after about 36 hours but I'm going away for a week tomorrow, hopefully it will be going then, thats if the kids don't unplug it and plug in their Wii again.
Was still not going when I got back (over 1 week) but then plug it into a mates openbox x810 and it fired up in a couple of minutes. so all is well now
What version firmware in your box? If not 117 have look on the Strong website.

It is version 117. Can't understand why it didn't get it going, but now I have it start everything is fine.
is it the latest 117 (may) from the website as there were 2!!

Try reloading the firmware again I have had the same trouble in the past when using the USB method but if it is done with a RS232 cable it stays good.

It was the older 117. I've put in the new one now and all is going well. Thanks again for the help
