I know you can have more than 1 map in Garmin Mobile XT. I have the Australian Navteq map named as GMAPSUPP.IMG and the Sensis map named as GMAPPROM.IMG. It all works and both maps are recognised ok. My question is how do you swap between the two maps? I can't find anywhere to select the current map.

Hi dat260,
I installed the 2013.2 sensis on my laptop & it showed fine.
But you got me to thinking why it doesn't show up for you.
My laptop did not have 2013.1 installed, & when I did 2013.2 disappeared from menu. My PC had 2013.1 installed & refused to recognize 2013.2
How interesting
Further investigation shows that 2013.1 & 2013.2 are the same size & have the same Fid: 2627. This should not be. All maps should have different Fid.
Maps of the same Fid cannot coexist.
I have 19 different map sets installed in MapSource all have different Fid:
According to GmapTool the maps are identical apart from the Header & name.
My conclusion is 2013.1 & 2013.2 sensis maps are in fact the same map set. Not an update.

Perhaps I just missed it but I didn't find any torrent for these Sensis/Whereis maps on Piratebay (well I didn't look for the 2013.10 maps which are supposedly more or less the same thing). There is on torrent on Piratebay for Garmin 2013.20 maps but it's of the Navteq (NT) maps that are the topic of this thread
For me downloads from Netload.in are going at about 4-7k so a torrent would be nice.

You are correct about the
the same PID, FID and file size etc.
I think Garmin made a whoopsy or their just scamming us
But the maps are indeed two separate updates from Garmin
(taken from my own account)
City Navigator Australia & NZ NT 2013.20-Sensis,Map+3D+JV(S)+HT, Jul 12
PID 1, FID 2627
City Navigator Australia & NZ NT 2013.10-Sensis,Map+3D+JV(S)+HT, Feb 12
PID 1, FID 2627

Went here Post 17 & 18
As I have worked out, you only need to uninstall 2013.10 to get 2013.20 sensis to install in MapSource due to the fact they have the same FID. (IMHO they are the same map with a name change only)
I have all CN AU NZ maps from 2011 onward & several different Topo maps installed in MS with no probs as they all have different FID.

Seems to vary depending on time of day and also randomly. Sometimes I got 50-100k or even more. Anyway I just realised the Piratebay doesn't specify it's Navteq (both Sensis and Navteq are NT) but I'm pretty sure it is since I downloaded it. I think you can also tell from the dates since I believe the Sensis maps just came out recently whereas the torrent is dated the beginning of July. I woulod guess the files tell you as well.
Im having trouble with the unlocked image file, too.
Somebody help me.This is my fist time brower.
