    Default U3 password prog

    looking for a program i can put on a memstick that asks for password after i it plug in.
    U3 type prog is what i am looking for.

    i use TrueCrypt on my usb / sd / cf allows you to encrypt the whole disc or a portion of it

    much easier to use winrar portable and just encrypt any 'sensitive' files as self extracting rar executables.......

    looks like TrueCrypt has to be on the pc you want to connect to.
    i want to plug in type in password and go.
    hoe sounds like a good idea BUT you can then undelete the file after you have used it.

    no you install it on your pc to start with then follow the steps and it creates whats called a traveler setup .This allows you to plug ity into any computer and it will ask for the pass before it will open the encrypted portion there is no need for true crypt on any other computer

    just run something like 'window washer portable' after you have done what you need to do.....
