I have just installed a 2.1 kilowatt system with inverter called eversol energy australia today installed a new meter and took away the old meterng system want to know what this new meter does exactly how can read as well and is it like a smart meter which works like peak and off peak periods curious to know thankyou

I suggest you ask the supplier to see just what it is capable of and how they have set it up to read your power flow.
Its a wonder they didn't tell you or you didn't ask when you signed up considering all the publicity relating to Solar installations.
