Aussie Government got cheaper itunes rentals for us
Didn't see it in the news but just now noticed itunes movie rentals in Australia
is now the same as in the USA cheaper when aussie dollar is above parity.
Good News.
There was a Senate enquiry in to Apples pricing compared to USA ripping Australians off.

Not sure NOW some that are on USA site for buy only no rental are on the Australian site starting for $5.99 rental still TOO HIGH! while some rentals are on Australian itunes starting from $3.99
for 48hours. I've got to admit it's hard to understand itunes pricing.
Sorry Maybe USA itunes still cheaper on average.

Essentially that's all there is to the iTunes pricing strategy. Australia has the highest household debt to disposable income ratio in world. What that boils down to is that until now we have the least resistance to price hikes than anyone else in the world and we let them get away with it!
