Aus 720.1838 map
By reading this, you have already given me control over a tiny slice of your mind
why when i load the Aus 720.1838 map my gps is telling me that my version is v650.1136 which seems to be an earlier one that i already had which was the 675.?
Just loaded it onto my ASUS 639....works ok.
I've got no sound at the moment but about to try a couple of the fixes to correct it.
Otherwise it all seems good !
Update:- fixed sound problem, works like a charm !

Hi Kevs,
Im guessing you haven't done this step that i mentioned in my earlier post to Brian.
Then copy the zip file TomTom_Navigator_7.450.9028_repack2 into the directory 2577 on your Sd card
Run you Pda file manager and execute that file and it should ask you if you want to install TomTom, click Ok and it should all be done. Reboot your Pda and it should hopefully work .
Anyone tried this one a deal extreme GPS (PNA) ?
Asus 636N is another success story .
Didn't have sound initially, after renaming two dll files as per instructions voices came back.
BTW is it only me or it locked very fast (don't remember ver6 locking after 20 seconds).
first of all thanks for sharing, can someone pls post here links to TomTom7 and Austrlian maps (working files) here, thanks.
TT7 program (can be used with V6 or V7 maps).
Latest Aus Map 720.1838:
If you need transfer maps to your new device use the keygen on the pc, run it against the map folder (v7 maps) and give it your device id (no space, uppercase), then copy the map folder to your device.
You run this in a command prompt, like this: tt7_keygen "map_folder" "device id"
For v6 maps activation codes use: tt6_keygen "path to .mid file" (then enter your device id when prompted)
To get your device id, run tomtom and exit. Look on your storage card for ttnavigator.bif, it will have your device id in it (DeviceUniqueID=<10chars>).

Thanks Guy's.....Great Feedback....
Is it much better ? Any Screen shots ? Does it have spoken street names ?
I believe the TTS function is part of the map data and as yet TTS does not come with Aus maps.
Where do I install POIs for the version? Are they part of the Australia folder?
Just put the pio files into the map folder. On mine it is sd:/Australia
