iPhone/iPod Charging with Routers 3G USB Port?
Hi,
I have a Billion 7404VNPX Router. It has a 3G USB Port that is not in use as I am connected via ADSL.
I want to be able to charge my iPod or iPhone without turning my computer on. Now seeing the router is on all the time, it would make sense to use the 5v from the 3G USB Port.
I have plugged my iPod in to see if it will charge and it does. What I am concerned about is whether the iPod will stop charging once it is full?
Any info would be appreciated.
regards

charging (or not) is controlled by the device, not the power supply
I charge my iphones and androids in any USB port i find... Yamaha Receiver, Vu+, PS3, Car, laptop... anywhere.
Works fine.

iPod/iPhone Charging
Thanks for the replies. Have charged both devices now and you are right. The device controls the charge. Happy Days
