Default WD TV Live Streaming $88 @ Officeworks

Just a heads up that Officeworks are selling the WD TV Live Streaming for $88 ! they are normally around the $120-$130 mark.

I got mine from Amazon and they are great for streaming Netflix and Hulu Plus.

Thanks my first generation WDTV non networked plays .MP4 with audio in sync, my second generation WDTV non networked plays .MP4 audio out of sync has this been solved by WD in these latest WD TV Live streaming players? No firmware fix in updates came out after 2009 for my models and are lemons, so unlikely to buy WD again.

I just downloaded Breaking.Bad.S05E08.HDTV.x264-ASAP.mp4 and it played without a problem on mine.

Great price, I might get another one.

I already have one and it works fine, and its why I originally started the Netflix thread. I find mine as good as my Roku, I now dont really have any preference over one or the other. Its just some services arnt available on one but are on the other. WD doesnt have Amazon, Roku doesnt have Vudu.

They work great for Netflix, Hulu Plus and Vudu. Great bang for buck for anyone that wants to give Netflix a whirl.

It's the only media player I own that never "buffers" when streaming their services off the net wirelessly. Good price.

Would there be a problem with the US version in Australia? ie NTSC vs Pal?

I dont have a problem with it .. you will need to get one of those overseas adapter plugs though.
I was also surprised at how quick it arrived.. ordered on a thursday/friday and got it on monday.

The New Firmware has NETFLIX, but don't get too excited, it's blocked for Aust.
