Sanyo 32' LCD TV Picture Issue

Hi

my 4 year old sanyo 32xr8da has developed a problem

when it starts its fine for around 30 secs to a minute the an inch wide yellowish seethru line appears, it runs from top to bottom near left side of screen....its not solid, more ghostly and fades in and out the picture otherwise is fine , even behind the yellowish line.

anyone know what the issue could be?

am i looking at here a repair or a replacement

Try checking the lead to the Tcon pcb, it will be found from main pcb to middle of set between power pcb and main unplug see if the wires have got hot and insulation has come of and shorted will be powdery to touch if so need new lead
i have the service manual if you need it

traced all the wires as suggested and no wires seem to have been trapped, overheated etc, all seem fine, and no capacitors have burst or look like doing so that i can see.

its a great little tv

id like to fix it if i can be fixed at a reasonable price
