I would love to have been able to go to the concert at the Sydney Opera House and have the cobwebs of Infinity blasted away by a full Orchestral rendition of all the Dr Who themes along with the effects.
I have a feeling the UK version has been on TV but to be in the auditorium to hear the full sweep of a Concert Orchestra is something no Home Theatre system can possibly match.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!
Jenna Louise Coleman, aka 'Clara'.
Welcome the new Lady to the Dr's already impressive list of 'Companions'.
This one however has something none of the previous Companions have and that is the ability to 'reappear' ( I wont say Regenerate) at the crucial time to give the Dr some 'incentive' to continue to wage war against those dastardly Demons on behalf of the Human Race.
As Matt Smith said on a Top Gear episode, 'you dont apply Logic to the Who'.

ah yes, Clara AKA Oswin, any one for a souffle?
Or correctly, Clara Oswin Oswald as it had on her gravestone.
I loved his quote when he was talking to the frosty intelligence in the bowl/sphere.
"It takes one to snow one!"

Recently on an episode of 'Who do you think you are' the actress who plays Dr Sooong was tracing her ancestory and to say the least she found some very interesting details but, that was then and what was done was dictated by the events current in that specific period and should be read and accepted on those terms.

Well another series come to an end, every episode had me glued to the screen.
The end of another Doctor??
John Hurt the new Doctor???
What do you think about that?
Personally I think it will be very interesting.
Hurt appeared as an unknown incarnation of in the 2013 episode "", and will reprise the role in the show's later in the year.

Only if they really distort the uh... time line ... of the show. Isn't Hurt supposed to be the doctor that pushed the big red button in the time war? If that is the case it puts him earlier in the doctor's personal time line before the existing run of incarnations in the 2005+ series of the show and that doesn't make any sense, at least it doesn't make as much sense as any other Doctor Who episode over the decades which isn't saying much.

The question that goes begging, though, is how are they going to kill Matt, he was still very much alive at the end of the last season. As for the continuity of John Hurt as the Doctor, he is a Time Lord and can easily cross his own Time Line otherwise none of the episodes would work.

The link below suggests he'll be in season 8

i reckon hurt is 'the doctor' before he stole the tardis and became the doctor.
i suspect he did something really bad (in his own mind) before he did a runner, hence the name 'the doctor'...
maybe the same 'incarnation' pushed the button in the time war.....

If you remember the last scene when 'the' doctor was asked his name there was the dark figure in the window and they began to refer to it as THE Doctor, a very emphatic THE indeed and as the figure turned, we saw it was John Hurt.
They have managed to create a character (Clara) who will appear continuously with the Dr as his 'Companion' unlike all the others who age and die as 'humans' do leaving him alone as has often been mentioned in the basic story so the introduction of John Hurts character opens more compartments in Pandora's Box.

Yes bring on the 50th Anniversary Episode.....plus some cameo appearances as well.....(Warning spolier alert for those who don't want to know - don't research it).
I thought this season wasn't the greatest...but still very happy to be watching The Doctor. Loved the final episode but would have preferred it to have been a 2 parter.
