xbox 360 elite help

thinking of buying it in the buy and sell section but dont know if it can be flashed.is there any way of knowing with out opening it as seller said it is sealed.any help would be great

did another search and they say elites have this model BenQ VAD6038 if so this can be flashed but not the lite on

I dont know if they can but if not maybe you could stick a drive in that can.
There is someone selling them in the buy/sell section.

just checked manfacture date is 10/12/2007 so has the benq drive that can be flashed

all he has to do is turn on xbox 360 and eject tray and he call tell by tray -

Most Elites I've seen have been the HLG V0079 & only 1 BenQ VAD6038.
Both can be flashed, but with the HLG, you need to instal the "pass-key" in order to be able to flash.
