Air Player for Iphone/Ipad/Macbook/Itunes
AirPlayer is a plugin for most E2 devices using a mipsel or sh4 chipset.
It allows you to stream content from you idevice to your E2 player.
It works amazingly well.... You can stream Photos, Video or Music.
In its raw form, you can successfully stream Photos and Videos or YouTube etc
But to stream Music/Audio from your idevice, you need a Premium Key.
The key can be bought for 5 Euro from some sites
Has anyone here got a Premium Key or made it otherwise work??
In my testing, the plugin works great on videos, on audio streaming i just get a blank screen and no sound.... some people have reported red text on screen asking for a Premium Key.... i have not found this myself.
Download Airplayer for Manual Install:
Air Player 1.10
Air Player 2.10
Some people report more success from Manual install than from Plug In menu... Personally i have only used Plug In menu for results posted above.

Air Player for Android
These instructions are from another source, i have not tried them as you have to purchase AirSync
Install AirPlayer on your E2 device (ver. 0.2.4 was quoted)
On your Android device install, Double Twist player + AirSync + Twonky Beam
In DoubleTwist player, you have to activate AirTwist & AirPlayer, then you can stream your Videos/Music to E2
To send Pictures on your box, you have to install Twonky Beam player and then you have to find your Box player
AirPlay handles 720p just fine
Streamed from laptop, works on either g or n wireless.
Streams full 1080p perfectly too... looked as good as PS3

Still searching for an answer to the Premium Key for Audio Only files if anyone has one?

You're going to hate me :-)
I'm using VTI (latest image) and audio works great with openairplay by sifteam.......actually everything does except HD streaming.
Youtube, audio, pictures, downcast etc are perfect.
Ah VTI... i thought you told me VIX last time... got it wrong.
Ok... i'll give that a try
HD Streaming works fine with Blackhole, so long as you dont get too far away from the WiFi point.
Interestingly, the DVB-T HD channels dont stream as easy as the DVB-S HD channels??
If you meant HD streaming via Airplayer, that seems to work fine with Blackhole, but they have been fairly compressed formats, H.264 or m2ts

If you have more than one box running AirPlayer on your LAN, and you select the AirPlayer option from your Idevice, it will be played on the box which has the lowest address. At least that is how it behaves for me.
