    Default Aldi keyboard Tablet incompatability.

The current case and keyboard on sale at Aldi for $29 is NOT compatible with the recent Android Tablet they sold.
The Bluetooth links ok but the keyboard cant communicate with the Tablet.
I know the advertising says Ipod 1,2,3,A,B,C etc but when you dont know your Tablet from a capsule and you cant ask the staff, silly people buy things incorrectly.
I must say the case is nice but now to decide if I want to take it back or keep it.
I stand unequivicably behind everything I say , I just dont ever remember saying it !!

    Gordon,
Not sure if it a help or not.
Had a similar thing with a Chinese Android, a Bluetooth Keyboard was paired but wouldn't work off the bat.

Ended up there was an "Input Method" selector app that allowed me to select the keyboard.

Can't remember what it was called.

Sorry its a bit vague, it wasn't my tablet (I was just doing a favour) and the user has long since replaced it with another.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy...

Sorry fellows but this 'Pairs' ok but nothing else so I rang 'Tempo' and I was told the keyboard is incompatible with the Tablet.
Perhaps the word 'Communicate' was badly chosen but what I meant was that even thought the Bluetooth connects and shows 'connected' in Devises, the keyboard operating system itself isnt recognised by the Tablet and it wont accept the keystrokes.
The operator commented Aldi was a bit thoughtless in selling this keyboard immediately after the Tablet for this reason so I am guessing I may not have been the only one 'caught out'.

Agreed, I'd say both Tempo and Aldi have probably been inundated with calls and complaints.

Aldi really need to stick with just selling groceries, as they frequently make mistakes like this when selling items they know nothing about.

Mind you, so do a lot of other stores that should know more about their products... DSE for example.
