    Default Roku arrived today.....

Sitting in the office doing some paperwork and got a knock on the door.
It was the postie with a parcel from amazon, WTF ? I don't remember ordering anything lately....

I opened it up and there was a nice new roku 2 xs......

checked my amazon account, yep, ordered at 1 a.m. wa time on the 15th......

    cost $98 au delivered.

FYI, power adaptor is parallel pin type, 100 - 240v ac, no problem in australia....

just have to set up the unblock.us settings and try it out....

no, no problem as i run all my electronics @ 110v anyway via a dick smith power supply.

or you can bend the pins with pliers......

only problem so far is trying to get my billion router to work with unblock.us settings....

snookums, it's like having lots of extra birtdays with surprise presents.....

Subscribe to the Wealth Channel, its a bargain at 99 US cents a month and really shows how far internet TV has come. The picture is HD and is absolutely brilliant.

It will also show you the sort of quality you expect when your rent a movie in HD from Vudu for example.

You can also power it from the HDMI cord.

Something people might want to watch out for - I paid for a game on the Roku (and had used a US address when registering the box) which saw the bank put a block on my credit card, suspecting fraudulent use.
