Boxee
Just bought a Boxee to try in another room.
What a improvement over the WD HD in terms of use.
I have set it up to work wireless, has adjustable DNS settings like the WD but what made me buy it is all the channel providers catered for (unlike the small WD list offered) and the web browser with a small remote with a built in full keyboard.
As Sanity mentioned about the Roku remote, you can point it anywhere and it works, the biggest improvement is the speed and extensive menu and adjustments.
The remote is small and thin and double sided, one side has basic play/pause/back buttons, the opposite side has a full miniature keyboard making typing logins and web address a breeze.
Wireless it works fine with Netflix, no problem setting my WD account on it.
Surfing the web is no problems too, has a full browser.
Much larger unit than the WD/Roku however im sold on this units Internet browsing ability and flexibility.
The remote with the keyboard has me in a spin.....

The Slingbox app works quite well if you want to trial a service like
liveamerican.tv but with Netflix, and vudu, on boxee cable tv is grossly overpriced.

I just copied all my WD Netflix account details and DNS Blocking details over to the Boxee, 2 units working from the 1 account, i didnt join Netfllix through the Boxee app so the cost is still minimal.
Had a play with it tonight, Netflix works perfectly, surfed the web on it etc....
