Found this via whirlpool and the WDTV forums...
There is a google browser built into WDTV live streaming player (the latest one).
Go to setup, then about, and then press the search button on the remote (bottom left).
Voila! I plugged in a keyboard and mouse and it all works. I had a quick play at BBC iplayer (still no go) and tried sbs on demand but I needed flash and it wouldn't download it.
Anyway hopefully this will bring some new tricks hacks etc etc.

are you using the rear usb to connect the keyboard?
I tried mine WDLive which is an older model and it worked with your instructions. I just need to get a usb keyboard and mouse to try it. how neat is that. thank you for the info

Unfortunately it is the worlds slowest browser, it's next to useless
Better to just use it as a "Mirroring Device" if that can be done?
If u want to go on an expedition get a Land Rover, if u want to come home from an expedition get a Landcruiser!
I have my tv hooked up to my main computer but that is in my living room so I can watch stuff on my bedroom tv via my main computer, but if I could be able to control the WDLive via a keyboard and mouse I wouldn't have to get up all the time.
thanks for the help.
