Why would you do that when it only costs $8?
Netflix and hulu plus are much the same in that they can be activated on 5 or so different devices and watched by 2 people at the same time.

Maybe to encourage pensioners to take the plunge 8(netflix) + 8(hulu plus) + 5(dns) = $21/month not including cost of set top box like roku plus $30-$60+ for unlimited broadband. Or gift it to a less fortunate relative.

They are still going to have to pay for all that to get it.....they still need internet, dns solution, receiver etc......so they would save 8 dollars by logging in to your accounts with the potential for you to lose your account for multiple logins.
Personally, I would rather send someone a cheque for $8 and tell them to get their own than risk my account/s.
You won't lose your account for multiple logins 2 simultaneous streams is allowed. You don't give your relatives your password you set it up for them. You don't share your DNS they have to pay for that themselves through paypal per month.
You are very well off if you think saving $16 a month is nothing. I earn less than $12000 a year.
The fact that your allowed to watch 2 simultaneous streams on netflix or hulu plus is wasted in Australia on the one isp connection. Our broadband just isn't fast enough
so may as well outsource it to a relative on a different isp who could then utilize the second stream.

You can obviously afford unlimited internet, dns solution and subs to Netflix and Hulu on your $12000 a year.
I am very well off......lets see, from memory Centrelink is paying me $2400 a year in DSP payments.
BTW, sharing 2 $8 subs with someone would be an $8 saving not a $16 saving.
If someone can afford the unlimited internet and dns, personally I reckon they could find that extra $2 a week themselves. Its one thing to screw an expensive system thats is genuinely unaffordable at $130-140 a month like foxtel, but screwing a serice to save 2 bucks a week is getting a bit ridiculous in my opinion.
I don't own a car or a mobile and don't go on holidays or the pictures helps.
