I need to buy a new laptop battery for my Dell Inspiron 1545 and the batteries on the Dell website are expensive.

Cheaper batteries are also likely to have fewer cells, so much shorter run time between charges.

I agree that genuine DELL replacement batteries (like most brand names) are overpriced.
