Default Roku youtube and video streaming with twonky

I don't know if this is new but I just read about a way to stream videos from your phone or tablet, or from a network or send youtube and Vimeo videos to your Roku box. It works pretty well.

I assume this works with both iPhone and Android devices but I've only tried it with an Android phone.

You get the 'Twonky Beam' app for your phone from the app shop.

Then, on your Roku box, you install the private twonky channel by logging into your Roku account on the web, then clicking "Add Private Channel". Enter mytwonky in the box and tell it to install.

Then go back to your Roku Box, go the the Channels channel then exit and it will install the twonky channel for you.

Open the Twonky Beam app on your phone

To get a youtube video you click on the youtube link, find a video and then beam it to your Roku device. It should start playing after a few seconds.

You can find videos from you phone or network by clicking on the envelope/house icon in the top right (on Android at least). Just beam them over and they start playing too.
