1: simple way is print screen using Prt Sc button on your keyboard, that puts the screen image in your clipboard. Then open Paint program, paste the clipboard image, you can then crop & print what you want to your printer.

2:the best way is - on the bottom right of the Map in dishpointer you will see a button marked +Google Earth, if you have Google earth installed then clicking this button sends a .kml file to your PC that opens in Google Earth. Select the Print Icon in Google Earth & follow the prompts to your printer. Cool, its a 3d image with the pointer trail to the sat.
BTW ICYDK Google Earth is a free program

    Hope that helps.

Yeah, if you want a really good el cheapo, go the the PROF SF-500 Sat finder as described in a few threads on this forum, including

I've been playing around with my neighbors SF -500 & I don't want to give it back. Guess I'll just have to fork out the $50 delivered & get my own.

Each to their own, but a sat finder would make things much easier

For Linux Users wanting a pic , use Ksnapshot, just define the area you want to capture, save and print. Easy

On the satellite finders The Prof SF-500 is the only way to go. ( read my other posts ) I myself had no
luck at all with just the maps and those cheap meter type sat finders ( and I spent many hours trying ).
