They are not really difficult to do. Just follow the instructions in the following link. If you have specific questions ask away.

You can use the same instructions as that doc, but you will want to use the VCC method which involves removing a resistor from the board and putting a switch to its points temporarily.

Looks like i`m gonna have to get my old pc out as alot of programs dont seem to like this 64bit one.
Will read more and maybe give it a try next weekend if I have some spare time and feel confident.

You should be flashing it from dos using a bootable usb key or similar, or are you refering to the programs for creating the bootable usb?

Cool. Good luck. I had heard that they dont like 64bit OS's. No problems on almost any 32 bit OS however.

Yeah I had to install .NET framework v2 to fire up iPrep.
os xp64bit and tried xp sp1 with the same error.

I dont have the via card yet. So I haven`t got the option to select that yet. Maybe thats the prob. Pretty much all I can select is NVIDIA. Just want to see if I can program the usb stick.

Actually looking at the error it suggests that you are trying to write to your C: drive. Did you select the usb key as the destination?

Min, are you using the Iprep version that installs? I got the same error with the one I got off xbins and then ended up using a setup version that installs and that fixed the problem.
